Using a worship song of their choice as inspiration, artists will create a pop-out accordion book. We will use liquid watercolor to create an expressive background. Colored pencils will be used to create an optical art design while developing shading skills and acrylic paint will be used to create a pop of color. Hot glue will be used to assemble the book. All skills will be taught around the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create a balanced work of art.
This class is designed to meet the needs of all ages and ability levels. All supplies will be provided.
